Top cafés and restaurants close to Pokémon GO hotspots

Becoming a successful Pokémon trainer in Pokémon GO means an abundance of exploration, roaming and legwork.

And with hard work should come great reward.

Next time then, when you're basking in the glory of catching Pikachu, Jigglypuff or any of their equally as iconic yet maddeningly rare accomplices, why not reward yourself at the scene of your success?

Traversing the country in pursuit of Pokémon presents the perfect opportunity for new foodie experiences.

With a customer portfolio consisting of over 30,000 restaurants and cafés, Silver Chef can give you the low-down on some of the best places to dine out and refuel close to the best Pokémon locations in Australia.

These Pokémon locations are taken from finder.com.au, a crowdsourced site designed to pinpoint the top places to find spawning Pokémon currently absent from your prized collection. Input was also received from Silver Chef's in-house expert - Geoff Irish - a level 22 Pokémon Trainer at the time of writing.

Of course, most of the below locations are constrained to just suburb. From there, it's up to your own ingenuity to find Pokémon in their favoured habitat. Water type Pokémon spawn near rivers; grass and bug types near parks; fighting types near gyms and sports centres; rock types near buildings and landmass; psychic types…well, you get the idea.
