Freight Cost Guide
As you would know, for hospitality equipment, shipping costs can vary greatly depending on the size of the equipment and where it is going. Our aim is to ensure you get the cheapest freight cost possible – therefore, we have 2 options for you:
1. Pickup instore – Rather than rely on the Silver Chef freight carrier, you may be able to pick up the assets yourselves or you may have access to an amazing freight rate. Therefore, when you are contacted by Silver Chef after your purchase, simply advise us that you are happy to handle your own shipping and we’ll arrange a mutually suitable time for pick up – its as easy as that.
Our warehouse is located at Wacol, Queensland.
* Please note you are completely responsible for the goods from point of pick up if you choose this option. Silver Chef holds no responsibility for any damage incurred during transport if not arranged by us through our own transport carrier.
2. Courier – If you don’t want the hassle of organising freight, we are happy to do it for you. When Silver Chef contacts you after your purchase, we can provide a quote from Cope Transport or Dashmap, our own freight carriers before issuing documents. That way, freight will be all organised for you at your own cost (this must be paid for by credit card prior to equipment leaving). Please note that when we organise freight, you are responsible for insurance. You are also responsible for labour and equipment to unload and position at delivery.
