As of Monday August 4, Silver Chef opens its new Approval Centre!
You can now call our Approval Centre Hotline - 1800 337 153 - for easy, no-fuss, 'over the phone' approvals. That means you can leave your dealer’s showroom with an approval, there's minimal paperwork, and no tiresome administrative delays. It has never been easier to do business with Silver Chef!
So how does it work? All applications (large or small) can be processed with minimum fuss. Those below $20K can be approved immediately.
The new process is simple:
1. When visiting your dealer’s showroom, mention Silver Chef to the sales representative who will then call the Approval Centre on 1800 337 153, 2. Once the sales representative has given us their basic dealer information, they can put you on the phone to receive approval, 3. Once on the phone, we can take your basic application details and carry out our credit assessment process. This should take approximately 10 minutes, 4. If it is a pre-approval we will advise you on the spot - if it is a contract, we will fax or email the documentation through and you are good to go. It’s as simple as that!
Please note that deals over $20,000 can be handled through the approval centre but will need to be approved by a team leader or manager so may take a little longer as all our existing credit policies will apply.
The launch of our Approval Centre also coincides with a restructure of the Customer Service Team. As you know, we strive to always provide the best possible levels of service and in an effort to ensure we maintain our high standards, we have split our current customer service team into 3 teams:
1. The Approval Centre is designed to handle all incoming applications.
2. The New Business Team Their role is to deliver all the services you are used to from our customer service team – except of course approvals. This includes:
- Processing rental documents
- Point of contact for status of contract
- Used equipment allocations and sales
Whilst you will have a single point of contact, should the customer service officer be unavailable, someone else in the team will be there to answer any questions you may have.
3. The Existing Business Team This team will look after all existing contracts including:
- Return of equipment
- Payout figure enquiries
- Upgrades
This new structure will not only provide more effective and efficient processing of work, it will allow faster and easier access to Silver Chef staff members.
